Welcome to  Workshop No.22! I am Sheila and I love antique and vintage furniture. I'm passionate about giving old pieces new life and transforming furniture into beautiful modern pieces. I learned how to paint furniture to find a way to be creative and reinvent myself in the workplace after raising my children.

 

I am located in the beautiful New England town of Darien, a bedroom community situated in southwestern Connecticut on Long Island Sound. I get a lot of my inspiration from vacations in the New England and the Finger Lakes, NY regions.

All of my furniture pieces are pre-owned and lovingly hand painted or refinished using high quality paints and stains. My favorite sources for great style and high quality furniture are auction, estate and local tag sales.

Refurbished vintage furniture will have perfect imperfections that adds to the authentic character and beauty of the piece. Decorating with antique and vintage furniture is not only sustainable & stylish but goes a long way toward reducing our environmental footprint.
